GGA Launches Membership, A Letter from the Chair and Chair-Elect
At this pivotal moment for our communities and our sector, we invite you to join the Georgia Grantmakers Alliance (GGA)—a growing, statewide network of philanthropic organizations committed to collaboration, learning, and advocacy for a stronger Georgia.
Initially founded in 2010 as a grantmaker affinity group within Southeastern Council of Foundations (now Philanthropy Southeast), GGA’s state-based work continues to be complementary to PSE’s regional approach. With a desire to deepen our impact across communities in Georgia, GGA transitioned to an independent organizational structure in 2024, and for the first time is launching membership to sustain our approach.
It is essential for grantmakers in Georgia to stay informed, connected, and coordinated. At GGA, we believe that when Georgia’s grantmakers stand together, we are far more effective in protecting and advancing the interests of the organizations and communities we serve.
Our commitment to you is to provide:
A Powerful Network: Build relationships with philanthropic peers across Georgia, share insights, collaborate on strategic efforts, and discover new co-funding opportunities that extend your reach and deepen your impact.
Enriching Learning Opportunities: Receive discounted registration for thoughtfully curated programs and events that offer meaningful engagement, actionable knowledge, and the fellowship that sustains our work.
Timely News and Resources: Stay informed with exclusive updates and tools to help you better understand and influence the public policies that shape our sector in the state and affect the communities we care about.
Stay tuned for the launch of membership on June 15th and reach out directly with any questions.
With gratitude for all you do,
