2011 Biannual Winter Meeting: What's Going on Under the Gold Dome? How is it Affecting Students in Georgia?
The Georgia Grantmakers Alliance held its second gathering on February 23rd at the Loudermilk Center in Atlanta. The meeting agenda included a legislative overview, an update on efforts to reform Georgia’s tax code and a discussion on how foundations are working to shape education policy. With more than 104 attendees, the day was filled with informative presentations, powerful discussion, and insightful questions.
